Philip has over 30 years of building industry experience specialising in quantity surveying, cost management, building surveying and dispute resolution services for public and private clients across New Zealand, particularly in the insurance, education and commercial construction sectors.
Philip has extensive experience in delivering quantity surveying and cost management services including cost estimation, preparing pricing documentation, procurement, contract administration and financial reporting which have enabled our clients to successfully control financial outcomes for their projects.

In addition to these services, Philip also has in-depth experience with investigating and reporting on building cladding systems, causes of defects and deterioration to identify weathertightness and durability issues. His extensive knowledge in this field enables him to perform dispute resolution services, acting as an expert witness for mediations and adjudications.

Philip has worked on projects for key client organisations across New Zealand including the Medical Assurance Society, Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment, Bay of Plenty District Health Board, Ministry of Education, Hick Brothers Civil Construction, Metlifecare, Tauranga City Council and Beca.
